    The National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) of the 
    Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Announces the 
    Following Meeting
    
        Name: Epidemiologic Perspective on Early Hearing Detection and 
    Intervention (EHDI).
        Time and Date: 2 p.m.-3:30 p.m., (EST), March 5, 1999.
        Location: Dr. Nigel Paneth, Department of Epidemiology at 
    Michigan State University, will make a presentation at Michigan 
    State University, East Lansing, Michigan.

        Purpose: Dr. Nigel Paneth, Department of Epidemiology at 
    Michigan State University, will provide an overview of the 
    epidemiology of newborn hearing screening. The presentation will be 
    followed by a brief question and answer period.
