    ACTION: Notice of Exemption.

    SUMMARY: The Commission, under 49 U.S.C. 10505, exempts from the prior 
    approval requirements of 49 U.S.C. 10903-10904 the abandonment by the 
    San Bernardino Associated Governments of 1.94 miles of rail line on the 
    Redlands Subdivision, between milepost 11.40 and milepost 13.34, in San 
    Bernardino County, CA, subject to standard labor protective conditions.
    
    DATES: Provided no formal expression of intent to file an offer of 
    financial assistance has been received, this exemption will be 
    effective on April 10, 1995. Formal expressions of intent to file an 
    offer of financial assistance under 49 CFR 1152.27(c)(2)\1\ and 
    petitions to stay must be filed by March 31, 1995. Requests for a 
    public use condition and petitions to reopen must be filed by April 10, 
    1995.
