Withdrawal of Proposed Regulations; Correction

AGENCY: Internal Revenue Service, Treasury.

ACTION: Correction to withdrawal of proposed regulations.

SUMMARY: This document contains a correction to the withdrawal of 
proposed regulations (CO-53-92) under 26 CFR part 1 in response to the 
Regulatory Burden Reduction Initiative. This document was published in 
the Federal Register on Tuesday, April 27, 1993, (58 FR 25587).

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

Background

    The withdrawal of proposed regulations that is the subject of this 
correction withdraws proposed regulations under several sections of the 
Internal Revenue Code pursuant to the announcement in the Federal 
Register (57 FR 11277).

Need for Correction

    As published, the withdrawal of proposed regulations (CO-53-92) 
contains an error which may prove to be misleading and is in need of 
clarification.

Correction of Publication

    Accordingly, the publication of the withdrawal of proposed 
regulations (CO-53-92), which was the subject of FR Doc. 93-9695, is 
corrected as follows:
    On page 25588, in the table following the part heading, an entry is 
added at the end of the table to read as follows:
