    ACTION:

    Notice of information collection to be submitted to OMB for review and approval under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.

    SUMMARY:

    In accordance with requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.), the FDIC hereby gives notice that it plans to submit to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request for OMB review and approval of the information collection system described below.

    Type of Review: Renewal of a currently approved collection.

    Estimated annual number of respondents/recordkeepers: 5,700

    SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

    Each supervised lending institution is currently required to provide a notice of special flood hazards to a borrower acquiring a loan secured by a building on real property located in an area Start Printed Page 13334identified by the Director of the Federal Emergency Management Administration as being subject to special flood hazards. The Riegle Community Development Act requires that each institution must also provide a copy of the notice to the servicer of the loan (if different from the originating lender).
