    DEPARTMENT OF LABOR

Amended Certification Regarding Eligibility To Apply for NAFTA
    Transitional Adjustment Assistance

In accordance with Section 250(a), Subchapter D, Chapter 2, Title
II, of the Trade Act of 1974, as amended (19 USC 2273), the Department
of Labor issued a Certification for NAFTA Transitional Adjustment
Assistance on March 5, 1996, applicable to all workers of LaSevilla
Fashions, Incorporated, Mangham Plant, located in Mangham, Louisiana.
The notice will soon be published in the Federal Register.
At the request of the State Agency, the Department reviewed the
certification for worker of the subject firm. The company reports
worker separations at its Winnsboro, Louisiana location. The workers
provide administrative support services related to the production of
pants and jeans at LaSevilla's Mangham, Louisiana plant. The intent of
the Department's certification is to include all workers of the subject
firm who were adversely affected by imports. Accordingly, the
Department is amending the certification to cover the affected workers
    at LaSevilla's Winnsboro location.
The amended notice applicable to NAFTA--00752 is hereby issued as
    follows:

``All workers at LaSevilla Fashions, Incorporated, Mangham
Plant, Mangham, Louisiana (NAFTA-00752) and Winnsboro, Louisiana who
became totally or partially separated from employment on or after
January 12, 1995 are eligible to apply for NAFTA-TAA under Section
250 of the Trade Act of 1974.''

Signed at Washington, DC this 16th day of March 1996.
