AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Final rule.

SUMMARY: The Commission, at the request of TYJ Broadcasters allots
Channel 295A at Alexandria, Louisiana. See 61 FR 37716, July 19, 1996.
In addition, the Commission also grants the counterproposal filed by
Louisiana Wireless Company requesting the allotment of Channel 288A at
Ball, Louisiana. Channel 295A can be allotted to Alexandria without the
imposition of a site restriction. The coordinates for Channel 295A are
31-18-06 and 92-27-12. Channel 288A can be allotted to Ball with a site
restriction of 6.3 kilometers (3.9 miles) north to avoid a short-
spacing conflict with Station KJJB(FM), Channel 288A, Eunice,
Louisiana. The coordinates for Channel 288A at Ball are 31-28-18 and
92-24-32.
With this action, this proceeding is terminated.
DATES: Effective April 28, 1997. The window period for filing
applications for Channel 295A at Alexandria, Louisiana, and Channel
288A at Ball, Louisiana, will open on April 28, 1997, and close on May
29, 1997.
