Declaration
AGENCY: Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This notice amends the notice of a major disaster for the
State of West Virginia, (FEMA-1168-DR), dated March 7, 1997, and
related determinations.
EFFECTIVE DATE: March 14, 1997.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The notice of a major disaster for the State
of West Virginia, is hereby amended to include Public Assistance and
Hazard Mitigation in those areas determined to

have been adversely affected by the catastrophe declared a major
disaster by the President in his declaration of March 7, 1997:
The counties of Braxton, Cabell, Calhoun, Clay, Gilmer, Jackson,
Kanawha, Lincoln, Mason, Putnam, Roane, Tyler, Wayne, Wetzel, Wirt,
and Wood for Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation (already
designated for Individual Assistance).
