    The Island of Yap in the Federated States of Micronesia constitutes 
a disaster area as a result of damages caused by Typhoon Fern which 
occurred beginning December 24 and continuing through December 27, 
1996. Applications for loans for physical damage as a result of this 
disaster may be filed until the close of business on May 19, 1997 and 
for economic injury until the close of business on December 19, 1997 at 
the address listed below or other locally announced locations: U.S. 
Small Business Administration, Disaster Area 4 Office, 1825 Bell 
Street, Suite 208, Sacramento, CA 95825.
