Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company; Notice of Compliance Filing

March 19, 1998.
    Take notice that on March 16, 1998, Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company 
(Tennessee), tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Fifth 
Revised Volume No. 1, Fifth Revised Sheet No. 319A, with an effective 
date of April 15, 1998.
    Tennessee states that Fifth Revised Sheet No. 319A is being filed 
in compliance with the Commission's March 3, 1998 Order on Rehearing 
and Clarification in the above-referenced docket (March 3 Order). 
Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, 82 FERC para. 61,221 (1998).
    Tennessee states that the revised tariff sheet provides that 
unscheduled flow penalties do not apply for the remainder of the gas 
day to an interruptible shipper's gas flow that has been nominated and 
scheduled at a point but is subsequently involuntarily bumped down to 
zero at that point.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
