RTCA Program Management Committee

    Pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act 
(Pub. L. 92-463, 5 U.S.C., Appendix 2), notice is hereby given for the 
RTCA Program Management Committee (PMC) meeting to be held April 6, 
1999, starting at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at RTCA, Inc., 
1140 Connecticut Avenue, NW., Suite 1020, Washington, DC 20036.
    The agenda will include: (1) Welcome and Introductions; (2) Review 
and Approval of Summary of the Previous Meeting; (3) Action Item 
Review: a. PMC Action Items 99-01 and 99-02, Revised Terms of Reference 
for Special Committee 192 (proposed change to new terms of reference); 
b. PMC Action Item 99-06, Flight Information Services Special Committee 
(status of FAA coordination and draft terms of reference; FAA's 
proposed use of committee products; report on user interest/requirement 
and chairman nominations); c. PMC Action Item 99-07, Data Link Special 
Committee (present the proposed terms of reference; consideration/
approval of committee co-chairs); d. PMC Action Item 99-04, Cost 
Benefit Considerations in RTCA Documents; (4) Discussion: a. Revised 
Template for Special Committee Terms of Reference; b. New Chairman for 
Special Committee 190; c. Nominations for 1999 RTCA Awards; (5) Other 
Business; (6) Date and Place of Next Meeting.
    Attendance is open to the interested public but limited to space 
availability. With the approval of the chairman, members of the public 
may present oral statements at the meeting. Persons wishing to present 
statements or obtain information should contact the RTCA Secretariat,
