Exempt Wholesale Generator Status

March 20, 1996.
    Take notice that on March 15, 1996, pursuant to Sec. 365.7 of the 
Commission's regulations, 18 CFR 365.7, AEP Resources Gippsland Power, 
L.L.C. filed notification that it surrenders its status as an exempt 
wholesale generator under section 32(a)(1) of the Public Utility 
Holding Company Act of 1935, as amended.
