    DEPARTMENT OF LABOR
    [TA-W-31,614]

    Christian Fashions Including Montana Fashions, El Paso, Texas;
Amended Certification Regarding Eligibility To Apply for Worker
    Adjustment Assistance

In accordance with Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C.
2273) the Department of Labor issued a Certification of Eligibility to
Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on December 6, 1995, applicable
to all workers of Christian Fashions located in El Paso, Texas. The
notice was published in the Federal Register on January 26, 1996 (61 FR
    2537).
At the request of the State Agency, the Department reviewed the
certification for workers of the subject firm. The workers produce
ladies' sportswear. The findings show that the subject firm was
formerly operating under the name Montana Fashions at the same
    location.
The intent of the Department's certification is to include all
workers of the subject firm who were adversely affected by increased
imports. Accordingly, the Department is amending the certification to
include the workers of Montana Fashions.
The amended notice applicable to TA-W-31,614 is hereby issued as
    follows:

All workers of Christian Fashions, including Montana Fashions,
El Paso, Texas who become totally or partially separated from
employment on or after October 25, 1994 are eligible to apply for
adjustment assistance under Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974.

Signed at Washington, D.C. this 12th day of March 1996.
    Russell T. Kile,
Acting Program Manager, Policy and Reemployment Services, Office of
    Trade Adjustment Assistance.
