30-Day Notice.
SUMMARY:
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be submitting the following information collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The information collection notice was previously published in the Federal Register on January 8, 2013, at 78 FR 1218, allowing for a 60-day public comment period. USCIS did not receive any comment in connection with the 60-day notice.
DATES:
The purpose of this notice is to allow an additional 30 days for public comments. Comments are encouraged and will be accepted until April 25, 2013. This process is conducted in accordance with 5 CFR 1320.10.

Overview of This Information Collection
(1) Type of Information Collection Request: Revision of a Currently Approved Collection.
(2) Title of the Form/Collection: Nonimmigrant Petition Based on Blanket L Petition.
(3) Agency form number, if any, and the applicable component of the DHS sponsoring the collection: I-129S; USCIS.
(4) Affected public who will be asked or required to respond, as well as a brief abstract: Primary: Business or others for profit. This form is used by an employer to classify employees as L-1 nonimmigrant intracompany transferees under a blanket L petition approval. USCIS will use the data on this form to determine eligibility for the requested immigration benefit.
(5) An estimate of the total number of respondents and the amount of time estimated for an average respondent to respond: 75,000 responses at 1.5 hours (1 hour and 30 minutes) per response.Start Printed Page 18362
(6) An estimate of the total public burden (in hours) associated with the collection: 112,500 annual burden hours.
