Notice Pursuant to the National Cooperative Research and 
Production Act of 1993--Petroleum Environmental Research Forum 
(``PERF'')

    Notice is hereby given that, on February 15, 1996, pursuant to 
Section 6(a) of the National Cooperative Research and Production Act of 
1993, 15 U.S.C. 4301 et seq. (``the Act''), the Petroleum Environmental 
Research Forum (``PERF'') has filed written notifications 
simultaneously with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade 
Commission disclosing a change in its membership. The notifications 
were filed for the purpose of extending the Act's provisions limiting 
the recovery of antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages under specified 
circumstances. Specifically, the notifications stated that the Aramco 
Services Company, Houston, TX, has become a member of PERF.
    No other changes have been made in either the membership or planned 
activity of PERF. Membership in PERF remains open, and PERF intends to 
file additional written notification disclosing all changes in 
membership.
    On February 10, 1986, PERF filed its original notification pursuant 
to Section 6(a) of the Act. The Department of Justice published a 
notice in the Federal Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of the Act on 
March 14, 1986, (51 FR 8903).
    The last notification was filed with the Department on March 1, 
1995. A notice was published in the Federal Register pursuant to 
Section 6(b) of the Act on April 27, 1995, (60 FR 20751). A 
supplemental filing of a change in the

wording of the Charter of PERF filed with the Department on October 25, 
1995, has not been published.
