NATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS AND THE HUMANITIES


National Endowment for the Arts; Music Teleconference

    Pursuant to Section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act 
(Public Law 92-463), as amended, notice is hereby given that a 
teleconference of the Music Advisory Panel (Jazz Masters Section) to 
the National Council on the Arts will be held on April 11, 1996. The 
teleconference will occur at the Nancy Hanks Center, 1100 Pennsylvania 
Avenue, NW., Washington, DC 20506. It will convene at 11 a.m. and end 
when business is completed.
    This meeting is for the purpose of application evaluation, under 
the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965, as 
amended, including discussion of information given in confidence to the 
Agency by grant applicants. In accordance with the determination of the 
Chairman on June 22, 1995, these sessions will be closed to the public 
pursuant to subsections (c) (4), (6) and 9 (B) of section 552b of Title 
5, United States Code.
