Virginia Electric and Power Co; Notice of Withdrawal of
Application for Amendment to Facility Operating License
The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission)
has granted the request of Virginia Electric and Power Company (the
licensee) to withdraw its February 26, 1990, application for proposed
amendment to Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-4 and NPF-7 for the
North Anna Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2, located in Louisa County,
Virginia.
The proposed amendment would have revised the license concerning
main steam line break accident analysis.
The Commission had previously issued a Notice of Consideration of
Issuance of Amendment published in the Federal Register on July 19,
1991 (56 FR 33313). However, by letter dated March 7, 1994, the
licensee withdrew the proposed change.
For further details with respect to this action, see the
application for amendment dated February 26, 1990, and the licensee's
letter dated March 7, 1994, which withdrew the application for license
amendment. The above documents are available for public inspection at
the Commission's Public Document Room, 2120 L Street, NW., Washington,
DC, and the Alderman Library, Special Collections Department,
University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia 22903-2498.
