    6. Pacific Gas and Electric Company

        Take notice that on March 12, 1999, Pacific Gas and Electric 
    Company (PG&E), tendered for filing the following contracts between 
    PG&E and the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART): (1) 
    a Service Agreement for Network Integration Transmission Service, and 
    (2) a Network Operating Agreement.
        PG&E is filing these signed Agreements to replace previously filed 
    unsigned versions of the Agreements. The unsigned agreements were filed 
    in compliance with the Commission's March 20, 1998 ``Order Requiring 
    Utility to Provide Network Transmission Service'' in Docket No. EL98-
    10-000. This Order required PG&E to file, within thirty days of the 
    March 20, 1998 Order, a network transmission service agreement for 
    BART.
        Copies of this filing have been served upon the California Public 
    Utilities Commission, BART, the California Independent System Operator 
    and other intervenors FERC Docket No. EL98-10-001.

        Tampa Electric proposes an effective date of February 15, 1999, for 
    the service agreement, and therefore requests waiver of the

        E. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest such filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy
