    30-Day notice.

    SUMMARY:

    The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will be submitting the following information collection request to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and clearance in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The information collection notice was previously published in the Federal Register on June 27, 2014, at 79 FR 36543, allowing for a 60-day public comment period. USCIS received two comments in connection with the 60-day notice.

    DATES:

    The purpose of this notice is to allow an additional 30 days for public comments. Comments are encouraged and will be accepted until April 29, 2015. This process is conducted in accordance with 5 CFR 1320.10.

    Overview of This Information Collection

    (1) Type of Information Collection Request: Revision of a Currently Approved Collection.

    (2) Title of the Form/Collection: Application for Provisional Unlawful Presence Waiver of Inadmissibility.

    (3) Agency form number, if any, and the applicable component of the DHS sponsoring the collection: I-601A; USCIS.

    (4) Affected public who will be asked or required to respond, as well as a brief abstract: Primary: Individuals or households: Individuals who are immediate relatives of U.S. citizens and who are applying from within the United States for a waiver of inadmissibility under INA section 212(a)(9)(B)(v) prior to obtaining an immigrant visa abroad.

    (5) An estimate of the total number of respondents and the amount of time estimated for an average respondent to respond:

    —Form I-601A: 35,000 at 1.5 hours.

    —Biometrics: 35,000 at 1.17 hours.

    (6) An estimate of the total public burden (in hours) associated with the collection: 93,450 total annual burden hours.
