    SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

    Background

The Department of Commerce received a request to conduct an
administrative review of the antidumping duty order on pipe and tube
from Turkey. On June 13, 1995, the Department initiated this
administrative review covering the period May 1, 1994, through April
31, 1995. The Department adjusted the time limits by 28 days due to the
government shutdowns, which lasted from November 14, 1995, to November
    20, 1995, and from December 15, 1995, to January 6, 1996. See
Memorandum to the file from Susan G. Esserman, Assistant Secretary for
    Import Administration, January 11, 1996.
It is not practicable to complete this review within the time
limits mandated by section 751 (a) (3) (A) of the Act. Therefore, in
accordance with that section, the Department is extending the time
limits for the preliminary results to June 27, 1996, and for the final
    results to December 24, 1996.
Interested parties must submit applications for disclosure under
administrative protective order in accordance with 19 CFR 353.34 (b).
These extensions are in accordance with section 751 (a) (3) (A) of
    the Act.
    Joseph A. Spetrini,
    Deputy Assistant Secretary for Compliance.
        Dated: February 28, 1996.
