given of the following advisory committee meeting:

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Purpose
The Hydrogen Technical Advisory Panel (HTAP) will advise the
Secretary of Energy who has the overall management responsibility for
carrying out the programs under the Matsunaga Hydrogen Research,
Development, and Demonstration Program Act of 1990, Public Law 101-566.
The Panel will review and make any necessary recommendations to the
Secretary on the following items: (1) The implementation and conduct of
programs required by the Act, (2) the economic, technological, and
environmental consequences of the deployment of hydrogen production and
use systems, and (3) the contents of the comprehensive 5-year program
required by the Act.

The meeting is open to the public. The Chairman of the HTAP is
empowered to conduct the meeting in a fashion that will, in the
Chairman's judgment, facilitate the orderly conduct of business. Any
member of the public who wishes to make an oral statement pertaining to
agenda items should contact the Designated Federal Official at the
address or telephone number listed above. Requests must be received
before 5 p.m. (e.s.t.) Tuesday, March 15, 1994, and reasonable
provision will be made to include the presentation during the public
comment period. It is requested that oral presenters provide 15 copies
of their statements at the time of their presentations.
Written testimony pertaining to agenda items may be submitted prior
to the meeting. Written testimony must be received by the Designated
Federal Official at the address shown above before 5 p.m. (e.s.t.)
Tuesday, March 15, 1994, to assure that it is considered by Panel
members during the meeting.
Minutes
A transcript of the open, public meeting will be available for
public review and copying approximately 30 days following the meeting
at the Public Reading room 1E-190, Forrestal Building, 1000
Independence Avenue, SW., Washington, DC between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.,
Monday through Friday except Federal holidays.
