Start Preamble
Take notice that on February 12, 2016, pursuant to section 5 of the Natural Gas Act (NGA) [1] and section 385.206 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure,[2] Stephen Kohlhase (Complainant) filed a formal complaint against Iroquois Gas Transmission System, L.P. and Algonquin Gas Transmission (collectively, Respondents) alleging that a 2009 modification of the Brookfield Compressor Station in Brookfield, Connecticut, and related pipeline infrastructure, caused an increase in low-frequency noise and vibration in violation of the Commission's regulations.[3]
The complainant certifies that copies of the complaint were served on the contacts for the Respondents as listed on the Commission's list of Corporate Officials.
Any person desiring to intervene or to protest this filing must file in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure.[4] Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a notice of intervention or motion to intervene, as appropriate. The Respondents' answer, motions to intervene, and protests must be served on the Complainant.
