Expansion of Foreign-Trade Zone 138 Franklin County, OH
Pursuant to its authority under the Foreign-Trade Zones Act of June
18, 1934, as amended (19 U.S.C. 81a-81u), the Foreign-Trade Zones Board
(the Board) adopts the following Order:
Whereas, an application from the Rickenbacker Port Authority,
grantee of Foreign-Trade Zone No. 138 (Columbus, Ohio area), for
authority to expand its existing general-purpose zone at the
Rickenbacker International Airport, Franklin County, Ohio, adjacent to
the Columbus Customs port of entry, was filed by the Foreign-Trade
Zones (FTZ) Board on June 24, 1993, (Docket 27-93, 58 FR 35427, 7/1/
93);
Whereas, notice inviting public comment was given in the Federal
Register and the application has been processed pursuant to the FTZ Act
and the Board's regulations; and,
Whereas, the Board has found that the requirements of the Act and
the regulations are satisfied, and that approval is in the public
interest;
Now, Therefore, the Board hereby orders:
The grantee is authorized to expand its zone as requested in the
application, subject to the Act and the Board's regulations, including
Sec. 400.28.
