Conformance to Survey; Alaska
AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.
ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This notice provides official publication of the surveyed
description for the Noatak National Guard Site at Noatak, Alaska. The
site was withdrawn by Public Land Order No. 2020 for use by the
Department of the Army. The plat of survey was officially filed in the
Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Washington,
D.C., on June 21, 1961. United States Survey No. 3778, Lot 3,
containing 0.50 acre, represents the land that was previously described
as follows:
A tract of land on the Noatak River, north of Kotzebue, at
approximate latitude 67 deg.35' N., longitude 163 deg.00' W.
Beginning at Corner No. 1 of U.S. Survey No. 2037, being the
northwest corner thereof;
Thence along an extension of the west line of U.S. Survey No. 2037,
N. 18 deg.51' E., 29 feet;
Thence N. 71 deg.09' W., 180 feet;
Thence N. 14 deg.58' W., 221.49 feet to the point of beginning;
Thence N. 68 deg.18' W., 140 feet;
Thence N. 21 deg.42' E., 200 feet;
Thence S. 68 deg.18' E., 220 feet;
Thence S. 21 deg.42' W., 200 feet;
Thence N. 68 deg.18' W., 80 feet to the point of beginning.
The area as described contained approximately 1.01 acres.
