Extension of Time Limit for Antidumping Duty Administrative
Reviews
AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration,
Department of Commerce.
ACTION: Extension of Time Limits for Antidumping Duty Administrative
Reviews of Certain Corrosion-Resistant Carbon Steel Flat Products from
Canada and Korea; Certain Cut-to-Length Carbon Steel Plate from Brazil,
Canada, Finland, Germany and Sweden; Certain Cold-Rolled Carbon Steel
Flat Products from Korea and the Netherlands; and Certain Grain
Oriented Electrical Steel from Italy.

SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce (the Department) is extending the
time limits for preliminary and final results of antidumping duty
administrative reviews of the antidumping orders on certain corrosion-
resistant carbon steel flat products from Canada and Korea; certain
cut-to-length carbon steel plate from Brazil, Canada, Finland, Germany
and Sweden; certain cold-rolled carbon steel flat products from Korea
and the Netherlands; and certain grain oriented electrical steel from
Italy, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended by the Uruguay
Round Agreements Act (hereinafter, ``the Act'').
EFFECTIVE DATE: April 1, 1996.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Under the Act, the Department may extend the
deadline for completion of administrative reviews if it determines that
it is not practicable to complete the review within the statutory time
limit of 365 days. In the instant cases, the Department has determined
that it is not practicable to complete the review within the statutory
time limit. See Memorandum from Joseph A. Spetrini to Susan G. Esserman
(March 4, 1996).
Since it is not practicable to complete these reviews within the
time limits mandated by the Act (245 days from the last day of the
anniversary month for preliminary results, 120 additional days for
final results), pursuant to Section 751(a)(3)(A) of the Trade and
Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, the Department is extending the time
limits for the aforementioned reviews as follows:
