    Mississippi River Transmission Corp.; Notice of Proposed Change 
    in FERC Tariff
    
    April 4, 1995.
        Take notice that on March 31, 1995 Mississippi River 
    Transmission Corporation (MRT) tendered for filing as part of its 
    FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff 
    sheets, to become effective April 1, 1995:
    
    Tenth Revised Sheet No. 5
    Tenth Revised Sheet No. 6
    Tenth Revised Sheet No. 7
    
        MRT states that the purpose of this filing is to adjust its rates 
    to reflect additional Gas Supply Realignment Costs (GSRC) of $801,943, 
    plus applicable interest, pursuant to Section 16.3 of the General Terms 
    and Conditions of MRT's Tariff. MRT states that its filing includes the 
    ``Price Differential'' cost of continuing to perform under certain gas 
    supply contracts during the months of October through December 1994.
        MRT states that copies of its filing have been mailed to all of its 
    affected customers and the State Commissions of Arkansas, Missouri and 
    Illinois.
        Any person desiring to be heard or protest the said filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 
    20426, in accordance with Secs. 385.211 and 385.214 of the Commission's 
    Rules of Practice and Procedures: 18 CFR 385.211 and 385.214. All such 
    motions and protests should be filed on or before April 11, 1995. 
    Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
    appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
    parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must 
    file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on 
    [[Page 18095]] file with the Commission and available for public 
    inspection.
