Office of Research on Women's Health; Notice of Meeting
Pursuant to Section 10(d) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as
amended (5 U.S.C. Appendix 2), notice is hereby given of the meeting of
the Advisory Committee on Research on Women's Health (ACRWH) to be held
May 5-6, 1997, National Institutes of Health, 9000 Rockville Pike,
Building 31, C Wing, Conference Room 10, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.
The entire meeting will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m., May
5, to adjournment on May 6. The purpose of the meeting will be for the
Committee to provide advice to the Office of Research on Women's Health
(ORWH) on its research agenda and to provide recommendations regarding
ORWH activities.
The agenda will include an update on ORWH activities and programs
to meet the mandates of the Office and discussion of scientific issues.
The Committee will hear scientific presentations from several NIH
institute directors, as well as an update from the Deputy Assistant
Secretary for Health (Women's Health). The Committee will also discuss
activities related to its regional meetings to update the research
agenda on women's health. Attendance by the public will be limited to
space available.

members, and substantive program information upon request.
Individuals who plan to attend and need special assistance, such as
