Omak Wood Products Inc., Omak, WA; Notice of Affirmative
    Determination Regarding Application for Reconsideration

By letter of March 6, 1998, the Washington State Labor Council,
AFL-CIO, requested administrative reconsideration of the Department of
Labor's Notice of Negative Determination Regarding Eligibility to Apply
for NAFTA-Transitional Adjustment Assistance (NAFTA-02127) for workers
of the subject firm. The denial notice was signed on February 20, 1998,
and published in the Federal Register on March 16, 1998 (63 FR 12838).
The petitioner presents evidence that the investigation did not
cover all products produced by workers of the subject firm.

    Conclusion

After careful review of the application, I conclude that the claim
is of sufficient weight to justify reconsideration of the Department of
Labor's prior decision. The application is, therefore, granted.

Signed at Washington, DC, this 27th day of March 1998.
    Grant D. Beale,
Acting Director, Office of Trade Adjustment Assistance.
