    Dresser-Rand Co., Corning, NY; Notice of Termination of 
    Investigation
    
        Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, an investigation 
    was initiated on March 9, 1998 in response to a worker petition which 
    was filed February 23, 1998 on behalf of workers at Dresser-Rand 
    Company located in Corning, New York (TA-W-34,297).
        The petitioning group of workers are covered under an existing 
    Trade Adjustment Assistance certification (TA-W-34,048A). Consequently, 
    further investigation in this case would serve no purpose, and the 
    investigation has been terminated.
