        The following applicant(s) have applied for a permit to conduct 
    certain activities with endangered species. This notice is provided 
    pursuant to Section 10(c) of the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as 
    amended (16 U.S.C. 1531, et seq.)
    
    PRT-800892
    
        Applicant: Mr. David C. Keller, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los 
    Alamos, New Mexico.
        The applicant requests a permit to take Mexican spotted owl (Strix 
    occidentalis lucida) and southwestern willow flycatchers (Empidonax 
    traillii extimus) that occur on Los Alamos National Laboratory and 
    adjacent lands in New Mexico for the purpose of scientific research and 
    enhancement of propagation and survival of the species as prescribed by 
    Service recovery documents.

        Applicant: Mr. Joseph A. Grzybowski, Norman, Oklahoma.
        The applicant requests a permit to take black-capped vireos (Vireo 
    atricapillus) that occur in several counties in Oklahoma for the 
    purpose of scientific research and enhancement of propagation and 
    survival of the species as prescribed by Service recovery documents.

        The applicant requests a permit to take red-cockaded woodpeckers 
    (Picoides [=Dendrocopos] borealis) that occur in northwest Harris 
    County, Texas for the purpose of scientific research and enhancement of 
    propagation and survival of the species as prescribed by Service 
    recovery documents.

        Applicant: Mr. Eric J. Berg, Fort Collins, Colorado.
        The applicant requests a permit to take several endangered/
    threatened speciew that occur along the DSE pipeline in New Mexico and 
    Texas for the purpose of scientific research and enhancement of 
    propagation and survival of the species as prescribed by Service 
    recovery documents.

        Applicant: Sherri L. Kuhl, Lower Colorado River Authority, Austin, 
    Texas.
        The applicant requests a permit to take several endangered/
    threatened species that occur within Lower Colorado River Authority 
    lands and ROW in Texas for the purpose of scientific research and 
    enhancement of propagation and survival of the species as prescribed by 
    Service recovery documents.

    Wildlife Service, P.O. Box 1306, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87103, and 
    must be received by the Assistant Regional Director within 30 days for 
    the date of this publication.
        Documents and other information submitted with this application are 
    available for review, subject to the requirements of the Privacy Act 
    and Freedom of Information Act, by any party who submits a written 
    request for a copy of such documents to the above office within 30 days
