Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve; Delta Region
Preservation Commission; Notice of Advisory Commission Meeting
SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given in accordance with the Federal Advisory
Committee Act that a meeting of the Delta Region Preservation
Commission will be held at 7 p.m., at the following location and date.
DATES: April 24, 1996.
LOCATION: University Center, Room 211A, University of New Orleans,
Lakefront, New Orleans, Louisiana.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Delta Region Preservation Commission was
established pursuant to Section 907 of Public Law 95-625 (U.S.C. 230f),
as amended, to advise the Secretary of the Interior in the selection of
sites for inclusion in the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and
Preserve, and in the implementation and development of a general
management plan and of a comprehensive interpretive program of natural,
historic and cultural resources of the Region.
Matters to be discussed at the meeting in addition to old business
and new business will include a general park update and a presentation
by Attorney David L. Loeb of Molaison and Loeb. This meeting will be
open to the public. However, facilities and space for accommodating
members of the public are limited. Any member of the public may file
with the commission a written statement concerning the matters to be
discussed. Written statements may also be submitted to the
Superintendent at the address above. Minutes of the meeting will be
available at Park Headquarters for public inspection approximately 4
weeks after the meeting.
