Delegation of Authority; Office of the Chief Financial Officer

    On March 26, 1998, I issued a memorandum confirming the current 
delegation (Secretary's Order 01-97, dated January 10, 1997 and 
published on February 3, 1997 at 62 FR 5047) of the authority of the 
Secretary of Labor to the Chief Financial Officer to waive claims 
arising out of erroneous payments of pay or allowances, or arising out 
of erroneous payments of travel, transportation or relocation expenses 
and allowances.
