Delegation of Authority on Rates of Compensation 
                for U.S. Representatives to the United Nations

                Memorandum for the Secretary of State

                By virtue of the authority vested in me by the 
                Constitution and laws of the United States of America, 
                including section 301 of title 3 of the United States 
                Code, I hereby delegate to the Secretary of State the 
                functions vested in the President by section 2(g) of 
                the United Nations Participation Act of 1945 (Public 
                Law 79-264, 22 U.S.C. 287(g)).

                You are authorized and directed to publish this 
                memorandum in the Federal Register.
