Florida Gas Transmission Company, Notice of Compliance Filing
April 10, 1996.
Take notice that on April 4, 1996, Florida Gas Transmission Company
(FGT) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised
Volume No. 1 the following tariff sheets to become effective April 1,
1996:
Substitute Fourth Revised Sheet No. 132
2nd Substitute First Revised Sheet No. 134
FGT states that on January 26, 1996, it filed in Docket No. RP96-
123-000 changes to its Tariff generally intended to modify or clarify
certain provisions in conformance with previous tariff changes filed
and accepted by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Several
parties filed protests to FGT's January 26, Filing.
In order to clarify the changes proposed in the January 26 Filing
and address concerns expressed in the protests, FGT filed on February
21, 1996, an answer (Answer) and a motion to defer the effective date
of the proposed tariff sheets from March 1, 1996 to April 1, 1996.
Concurrently, FGT submitted tariff sheets in Docket No. RP96-123-001
(February 21 Filing) to amend the January 26 Filing as described in the
Answer.
On March 27, 1996, the Commission issued an order (March 27 Order)
accepting, subject to certain revisions, the proposed tariff sheets to
become effective April 1, 1996, except for those sheets withdrawn or
superseded by the February 21 Filing. The March 27 Order requires FGT
to refile tariff sheets, within 15 days of the order, to: 1) clarify
that the calculation of the amount due FGT for delivery imbalances
shall be net of any no-notice quantities, and 2) clarify the time
period by which FGT shall render invoices to its shippers. The instant
filing is submitted in compliance with the March 27 Order.
Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street NE.,
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to
the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
