    ACTION: Notice of meeting.

    SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that a public meeting regarding U.S. 
    follow-up actions to the World Food Summit will take place on May 21, 
    1997. The purpose of the forum is to solicit public input to a U.S. 
    Action Plan on Food Security to be developed as follow-up to the World 
    Food Summit.
    
    DATES: The meeting will be held Wednesday, May 21, 1997 from 9:00 to 
    4:00 in the Jefferson Auditorium in the South Building at the U.S. 
    Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC.
