Federal Operating Permits Program

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

ACTION: Notice of cancellation of public hearing.

SUMMARY: On March 21, 1997 (62 FR 13748), EPA gave notice of the 
proposed Federal Operating Permits rule and of the opportunity for a 
public hearing to present oral testimony concerning the proposed rule. 
Because EPA received no requests for a public hearing, the public 
hearing scheduled for April 21, 1997 has been canceled.

DATES: Written comments on the proposed rule will continue to be 
accepted until May 5, 1997. Send the written comments to the address 
given below.
    Public Hearing Cancellation: Notice is hereby given that the public 
hearing originally scheduled for April 21, 1997, has been canceled.
