Agreement for Non-Firm Point-to-Point Transmission Service, dated
February 10, 1997 (the ``Service Agreement'') between Wisconsin

The Service Agreement provides for non-firm transmission service by

Interchange Service and OS, Opportunity Sales.
FPC requests Commission waiver of the 60-day notice requirement in
order to allow the contract to become effective as a rate schedule on
March 12, 1997. Waiver is consistent with Commission policies because
it will allow voluntary economic transactions to go forward.

mutually agree.

requested waiver of the notice requirements for good cause shown.

Service Commission and Central Maine Power.
