Notice of Postponement of Final Determination of Sales at Less 
Than Fair Value: Freshwater Crawfish Tail Meat from the People's 
Republic of China

AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration, 
Department of Commerce.

The Applicable Statute

    Unless otherwise indicated, all citations to the statute are 
references to the provisions effective January 1, 1995, the effective 
date of the amendments made to the Tariff Act of 1930 (the Act) by the 
Uruguay Rounds Agreements Act (URAA).

Postponement of Final Determination

    We have determined to extend the final determination based on a 
request by respondents that, should the preliminary determination be 
affirmative, the Department extend the due date for the final 
determination by 45 days. The respondents requesting the extension 
account for a significant proportion of exports of the subject 
merchandise, and the preliminary determination was affirmative. 
Therefore, in accordance with section 735(a)(2)(A) of the Act we are 
extending the final determination.
    The deadline for issuing the final determination in this case is 
now no later than July 24, 1997.
    This notice is published pursuant to section 735(a)(2) of the Act.
