AGENCY: Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

ACTION: Final rule: correction.

SUMMARY: This document corrects a final rule published in the Federal 
Register on December 30, 1998 (63 FR 71729), that amended the Nuclear 
Regulatory Commission's regulations on procedures applicable to 
proceedings for the issuance of licenses for the receipt of high-level 
radioactive waste at a geologic repository. The action is necessary to 
correct a typographical error.

EFFECTIVE DATE: May 3, 1999.

    On page 71738, first column, in Sec. 2.1006, the first sentence of 
paragraph (a), the reference to ``Sec. 2.1003(c)'' should be corrected 
to read ``Sec. 2.1003(a)(4).''
