AGENCY: Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

ACTION: Notice of issuance.

SUMMARY: The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued Supplement 
1 to Generic Letter 86-10, ``Fire Endurance Test Acceptance Criteria 
For Fire Barrier Systems Used to Separate Redundant Safe Shutdown 
Trains Within the Same Fire Area.'' This generic letter supplement is 
available in the Public Document Rooms under accession number 
9403240197. The resolution of public comments received on this generic 
letter supplement is discussed in a memorandum to the Document Control 
Desk dated March 25, 1994, which is also available in the Public 
Document Rooms under accession number 9403290094. This generic letter 
supplement is also discussed in Commission information paper SECY-94-
059 which is available in the Public Document Rooms under accession 
number 9404110360.
