National Institute on Drug Abuse; Notice of Meeting
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the
meeting of the National Advisory Council on Drug Abuse, National
Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) on May 19-20, 1998, at the National
Institutes of Health, Natcher Building 45, 9000 Rockville Pike,
Bethesda, MD 20892.
On May 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the meeting will be held in
Conference Rooms E1, E2, G1 and G2. In accordance with provisions set
forth in sections 552b(c)(4) and 552b(c)(6), Title 5, U.S.C. and
section 10(d) of Public Law 92-463, this portion of the meeting will be
closed to the public for the review, discussion, and evaluation of
grant applications. These applications and the discussions could reveal
confidential trade secrets or commercial property such as patentable
material and personal information concerning individuals associated
with the applications, disclosure of which would constitute a clearly
unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
On May 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the meeting will be held in
Conference Rooms E1 and E2. This portion of the meeting will be open to
the public for annoncements and reports administrative, legislative,
and program developments in the drug abuse field. Attendance by the
public will be limited to space available.
