National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; Meeting:
Board of Scientific Counselors
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the
meeting of the Board of Scientific Counselors, National Institute of
Allergy and Infectious Diseases, on May 17-19, 1994. The meeting will
be held in the 11th floor solarium, Building 10, National Institutes of
Health, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.
The meeting will be open to the public on May 17 from 9 a.m. to
12:15 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. During the open sessions,
the permanent staff of the Laboratory of Clinical Investigation and
Laboratory of Host Defenses will present and discuss their immediate,
past and present research activities.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in Sec. 552b(c)(6),
Title 5, U.S.C. and Section 10(d) of Public Law 92-463, the meeting
will be closed to the public on May 17 from 8:30 a.m. until 9 a.m.,
from 12:15 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., and from 3:30 p.m. until recess; on
May 18 from 8 a.m. until recess; and on May 19 from 8 a.m. until
adjournment, for the review, discussion, and evaluation of individual
intramural programs and projects conducted by the National Institute of
Allergy and Infectious Diseases, including consideration of personal
qualifications and performance, the competence of individual
investigators, and similar items, the disclosure of which would
constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
Ms. Claudia Goad, Committee Management Officer, National Institute

Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland 20892, 301-496-7601, will
provide a summary of the meeting and a roster of committee members upon
request. Individuals who plan to attend and need special assistance,
such as sign language interpretation or other reasonable
accommodations, should contact Ms. Goad in advance of the meeting.
