John E. Fogarty International Center for Advanced Study in the
Health Sciences; Meeting of the Fogarty International Center Advisory
Board
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the
twenty-seventh meeting of the Fogarty International Center (FIC)
Advisory Board, May 24, 1994, in the Lawton Chiles International House
(Building 16), at the National Institutes of Health.
The meeting will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The
agenda will include a report by the Director, FIC; a discussion of
FIC's role in training and career development for American scientists,
a report on new initiatives in Middle East regional cooperation, and a
report on the status of the health and population initiative.
In accordance with the provisions of Sections 552b(c)(4) and
552b(c)(6), Title 5, U.S.C. and section 10(d) of Public Law 92-463, the
meeting will be closed to the public from 1:15 p.m. to adjournment for
the review of applications to the International Research Fellowship and
Senior International Fellowship, and Fogarty International Research
Collaboration Awards Programs; nominations to the Scholars-in-Residence
Program and a proposal for a Scholar's conference.

meeting and a roster of the committee members upon request.

provide substantive program information.

sign language interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, should
