National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute; Meetings of the
National Heart, Lung, and Blood Advisory Council and Its Research
Subcommittee and Training Subcommittee
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the
meeting of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Advisory Council,
National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, May 26-27, 1994, National
Institutes of Health, 9000 Rockville Pike, Building 31, Conference Room
10, Bethesda, Maryland 20892. In addition, the Research Subcommittee
and the Training Subcommittee of the above Council will meet together
on May 25, at the Marriott Hotel, Bethesda, Maryland.
The Council meeting will be open to the public on May 26 from 9
a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. for discussion of program policies and
issues. Attendance by the public is limited to space available.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in sections 552b(c)(4)
and 552b(c)(6), title 5, U.S.C., section 10(d) of Public Law 92-463,
the Council meeting will be closed to the public from approximately
3:30 p.m. to recess on May 26 and from 8:30 a.m. to adjournment on May
27 for the review, discussion and evaluation of individual grant
applications. The meetings of the Research Subcommittee and the
Training Subcommittee of the above Council on May 25, will be closed
from 7 p.m. to adjournment for the review, discussion, and evaluation
of individual grant applications. These applications and the
discussions could reveal confidential trade secrets or commercial
property such as patentable material, and personal information
concerning individuals associated with the applications, the disclosure
of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal
privacy.

Council members.
Individuals who plan to attend and need special assistance, such as
