    AGENCY: Forest Service, USDA.
    
    ACTION: Cancellation notice.

    SUMMARY: The USDA Forest Service and USDI Bureau of Land Management 
    have withdrawn their joint proposal to address the designation of motor 
    vehicle routes on National Forest lands, Inyo National Forest, and 
    Public lands, Bishop Resource Area; Inyo, Madera, Mono, and Tulare 
    counties, California, and Mineral and Esmeralda counties, Nevada. The 
    preparation of an environmental impact statement for this proposal is 
    cancelled.
        The Notice of Intent, published in the Federal Register on July 20, 
    1990 (55 FR 29645), and revised on February 22, 1993 (58 FR 9557) is 
    hereby rescinded.
