Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation; Notice of Proposed 
Changes in FERC Gas Tariff

April 18, 1996.
    Take notice on April 15, 1996, Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line 
Corporation (Transco), tendered for filing certain revised tariff 
sheets to its FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised Volume No. 1 which tariff 
sheets are enumerated in Appendix A attached to the filing. The 
proposed effective date is June 1, 1996.
    Transco states that the purpose of the instant filing is for the 
limited purpose of eliminating the requirement that a shipper schedule 
a separate transaction in order to utilize, on a secondary basis, 
flexible delivery points located upstream or downstream of such 
shipper's traditional delivery point(s).
    Transco states that it is serving copies of the instant filing to 
customers, State Commissions and other interested parties.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, Washington, DC 20426, in 
accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules 
and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed as provided 
in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be 
considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to 
be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion to 
intervene. Copies for this filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
