        The Department of Defense has submitted to OMB for clearance, the 
    following proposal for collection of information under the provisions 
    of the Paperwork Reduction Act (44 U.S.C. chapter 35).
        Title; Applicable Form; and OMB Control Number: Information 
    Collection in Support of the DoD Acquisition Process (Solicitation 
    Phase); DD Forms 1155 and 1155C-1; OMB Control Number 0704-0187.
        Type of Request: Reinstatement.
        Number of Respondents: 12,452,531.
        Responses per Respondent: 1.
        Annual Responses: 12,452,531.
        Average Burden per Response: 4.7 hours.
        Annual Burden Hours: 58,555,160.
        Needs and Uses: This information collection concerns information 
    that a contractor is required to submit in responding to a government 
    solicitation. The information is used to evaluate contractors' offers 
    and to determine which contractor should be awarded a contract.
        Affected Public: Businesses or other for-profit; Non-profit 
    institutions; and Small businesses or organizations.
        Frequency: On occasion.
        Respondent's Obligation: Required to obtain or retain a benefit.
        OMB Desk Officer: Mr. Peter N. Weiss. Written comments and 
    recommendations on the proposed information collection should be sent 
    to Mr. Weiss at the Office of Management and Budget, Desk Officer, for 
    DoD, room 3235, New Executive Office Building, Washington, DC 20503.
