    Algonquin Gas Transmission Company; Proposed Changes in FERC Gas 
    Tariff
    
    April 19, 1995.
        Take notice that on April 13, 1995, Algonquin Gas Transmission 
    Company (Algonquin) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, 
    Fourth Revised Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheets, with 
    a proposed effective date of May 13, 1995:
    
    Twentieth Revised Sheet No. 20A
    Original Sheet No. 98H
    
        Algonquin states that the purpose of this filing is to (i) recover 
    upstream transition costs of $19,785.39 billed to Algonquin by Texas 
    Eastern Transmission Corporation (Texas Eastern), (ii) recover Order 
    No. 528 upstream costs of $706.19 billed to Algonquin by Texas Eastern 
    and (iii) flow through a refund of Order No. 528 upstream costs of 
    $22,276.40 allocated to Algonquin by Texas Eastern. Algonquin requests 
    that the Commission grant any waiver that may be necessary to place 
    these tariff sheets into effect on the date requested.
        Algonquin states that copies of this filing were mailed to all 
    customers of Algonquin and interested state commissions.
        Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE., Washington, DC 
    20426, in accordance with 18 CFR Secs. 385.214 and 385.211 of the 
    Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests should 
    be filed on or before April 26, 1995. Protests will be considered by 
    the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken but 
    will not serve to make the protestants parties to the proceeding. Any 
    person wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene. 
    Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available 
    for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
