CNG Transmission Corporation; Notice of Section 4 Filing

April 19, 1996.
    Take notice that on April 15, 1996, CNG Transmission Corporation 
(CNG), tendered for filing, pursuant to Section 4 of the Natural Gas 
Act, Revised Volume 1A of CNG Transmission's FERC Gas Tariff, to become 
effective May 15, 1996.
    CNG further states that the filing is made pursuant to and in 
compliance with the Commission's order issued November 28, 1995, in 
Docket No. CP94-757 requiring the filing of revisions to Volume 1A to 
delete gathering lines abandoned by sale to Ashland Exploration, Inc.
    CNG also states that deletions have been made to reflect all other 
sales and abandonments through the date of filing, including the recent 
abandonment by sale to Eastern States Oil & Gas, Inc. in Docket No. 
CP93-200 et al.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest this filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with the requirements of the Commission's Rules and 
Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed as provided in 
Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be 
considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to 
be taken, but will not serve to make the protestants parties to the 
proceedings. Any person wishing to become a party to the proceeding or 
to participate as a part in any hearing therein must file a motion to 
intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
