    Pope & Talbot, Incorporated, Port Gamble, Washington; Notice of 
    Termination of Investigation
    
        Pursuant to Section 221 of the Trade Act of 1974, an investigation 
    was initiated on April 1, 1996 in response to a worker petition which 
    was filed by the Western Council of Industrial Workers, Local Shop No. 
    2633, on behalf of workers and former workers at Pope & Talbot, 
    Incorporated, located in Port Gamble, Washington (TA-W-32,130).
        The investigation revealed that workers at Pope & Talbot, 
    Incorporated, located in Port Gamble, Washington are currently covered 
    under an existing certification (TA-W-29,852).
        Consequently, further investigation in this case would serve no 
    purpose, and the investigation has been terminated.
