    In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-
463 as amended), the National Science Foundation announces the 
following meeting.

    Name: Advisory Committee for Geosciences (Committee of Visitors)

    Date and Time: May 17, 18 and 19, 1995; 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
    Place: Conference Room #770, 4201 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA.
    Type of Meeting: Closed.

    Purpose of Meeting: To evaluate the administration of the 
research grants programs in the Lower Atmospheric Research Section 
of the Division of Atmospheric Sciences.
    Agenda: Review and evaluate the decisions and actions of the 
Lower Atmospheric Research Section.
    Reason for Closing: The materials being reviewed include 
information of a proprietary or confidential nature, including 
technical information; financial data, such as salaries; personal 
information concerning individuals associated with the proposals 
[[Page 20779]] handled by the NSF programs and proposal reviewers. 
These matters are exempt under 5 U.S.C. 552b(c), (4) and (6) of the 
Government in the Sunshine Act.
